Nutanix

A pioneering solution in the field of hyperconverged infrastructure, offering its technology as a building block for private clouds.
Nutanix combines storage, compute and virtualization resources in a single appliance. Ready Nutanix solutions in collaboration with Lenovo, HPE, Dell EMC are also presented. Depending on the task, it is possible to build a “heterogeneous cluster” with any set of nodes of various configurations.
Originally targeted at VMware customers, Nutanix expanded after VMware released its own hyperconverged Virtual SAN platform. The vendor’s products now support Microsoft Hyper-V and KVM hypervisors, as well as VMware vSphere and Nutanix’s own KVM-based Acropolis hypervisor (AHV).
